This project has a most dynamic kitchen - due in large part to the creative input from the owners and the kitchen designer. Set against the backdrop of the display cabinet on the side wall which offers a beautiful presentation of all the wonderful crockery (so often kept in dark cupboards) - the dark granite tops offer a wonderful contrast to the overall visual effect.

      

                
Above images show the open plan nature of the house and how the kitchen and living areas are integrated into the overall spaces. Individual spaces are important to our designs - they are designed around how furniture is placed and how we move about these pieces. Our aim is to design these spaces so that each area has a certain "comfort" feel about it. It is this subtle (and often quite difficult to quantify) element in the design of a house that changes the feelings of being in a "home" rather than just another "space".
